Press Release: OMNI inks MOA with Jocson College on Aviation Training partnership for Jocson’s students
OMNI Aviation and Jocson College, Inc. enter into an agreement to partner up in providing aviation education for Jocson’s students with OMNI Aviation Practical Trainings through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on March 25, 2022 at Room 100 of Omni Aviation Corporation, M.A. Roxas Highway, Clark Freeport Zone, Clarkfield, Pampanga.
This one-year agreement provides Jocson’s AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technology) and AVT (Aviation Electronics Technology) students with theoretical training by Jocson College’s Institute of Aviation, and field training by OMNI Aviation. The agreement aims to give Jocson’s students a practicum of their academic subjects and an actual experience on Aircraft Maintenance under the Practical Assessment Program. Furthermore, it serves to assist the students in obtaining their respective CAAP License through the License Assistance Program. The areas of cooperation within the agreement include course details specifically program inclusions, training fee, pax inclusions on courses, among others. Through this, Jocson College is considered as one of OMNI’s partner schools.
The MOA was signed by Roberto A. Umali, OMNI Chairman and President; Earl Renzo P. Caday, OMNI Maintenance & Training Center’s Head of Training; Ma. Felisa Jocson, MBM, Jocson College Executive Vice President and Quality Manager, and; Bienvenido M. Caballero, MEAM, Dean of the Institute of Aviation, Jocson College. Inc.
Prior to this, the most recent MOA signing between the two institutions occurred in 2019, but was not renewed until the present due to rising COVID-19 cases of the pandemic.
Together with Jocson College, OMNI Aviation continues to extend its reach as it fulfills its goal of providing world-class aviation training for aviation aspirants.
