OMNI Aviation Receives Recognition from the Armed Forces of the Philippines

The plaque, which was given to only two out of the twenty-one air force reserve units in attendance, was a symbol of appreciation for OMNI Aviation’s support and service to the Philippine Air Force. Mr. Steven Cesar G. Virata, President and COO of OMNI, received the award from Sec. Delfin N. Lorenzana, Secretary for the Department of National Defense, and Lt. Gen. Noel S. Clement, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The program was the first of its kind, and was an initiative of the AFP with the aim of creating a platform to discuss and improve pertinent policies concerning the Reserved Forces. It was attended by reserved units from the Philippine Air Force, the Philippine Army and the Philippine Navy, with Sec. Lorenzana as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. This served as a reiteration of the efforts of the Air Force Reserve Command to strengthen ties with their affiliate reserve organizations.
OMNI Aviation, under the able leadership of Mr. Steven Cesar G. Virata, has been holding the post of 2022nd Philippine Air Force Flying School Reserve for four years. Endeavors from the company to aid the AFRC and the AFP also remain strong and continuous.
