OMNI Aviation Enters MOA with Jocson College, Inc. to Provide Introductory Training
OMNI Aviation has entered into a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Jocson College, Inc. (JCI) to provide introductory skill-based training to its 1st year BS Aviation students, in Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics.
The MOA, signed by OMNI Aviation President and Chief Operating Officer Steven Cesar Virata and JCI Executive Vice President and Quality Manager Ma. Felisa Jocson, aims to integrate practical training experience to their students at every stage of their academic year.
First year student trainees who will serve as Helper Mechanics or Helper Avionics will be provided with one hundred hours of quality hands-on training for line maintenance and aircraft servicing. The training will be upgraded to base maintenance training on their second year and will continue until fourth year level.
OMNI Aviation shall incorporate trainees the necessary skills and they will be assessed throughout the duration of the program wherein their level of performance will be forwarded to the school.
Trainees who will complete the entire 100 hour program will then be issued with a training certificate.
JCI has committed to provide about 100 to 200 students for every batch annually who will undergo the training program.
Recently, OMNI Aviation has also partnered with National University for on On-the-Job Training (OJT) program and other educational institutions in the country to provide quality training experiences to college students.
