OMNI Aviation’s Symposium on Pilot Training, “Launch Your Pilot Career,” took place on July 12, 2024, in OMNI’s audio-visual room. The event featured distinguished airline pilots and proud OMNI alumni as guest speakers, including Capt. Kevin Vasay, Capt. Martin Villaflor, and Capt. Ramon Marco Baquiran.

The occasion also welcomed Capt. Eleazar Cayago, OMNI's Vice President; Ms. Lilibeth Ramos-Mangulabnan, Business Development Group Head; Mr. Juan Paulo Gomez, Sales Manager; Mr. Mikhail Josef Siy-Hian, Senior Marketing Supervisor; and Capt. Jude Pilar, Head of Training at OMNI’s Pilot Training School, who delivered the opening remarks.

Capt. Martin Villaflor shared his journey from flight training at OMNI to becoming an airline pilot, shedding light on the struggles and challenges he encountered along the way. Capt. Kevin Vasay recalled his time at OMNI, managing pilot training alongside college studies, and shared insights into his life as an airline captain. Capt. Ramon Marco Baquiran discussed the enjoyment and challenges of his training at OMNI, encouraging participants to "trust the process" and remain patient, as the journey to achieving their dreams is worthwhile.

The symposium included a Q&A session where student pilots, aspiring pilots, and their parents or guardians could ask questions about training and career opportunities.

Capt. Cayago concluded the event with inspiring remarks, and attendees had the opportunity to interact and take photos with the airline pilots.
