OMNI Aviation’s Open House and series of symposiums kicked off with the Maintenance Training Center’s event, "Aircraft Maintenance Training: Building Skills, Building Careers," held on June 28, 2024, in the OMNI Aviation audiovisual room. The symposium featured speakers, including Mr. Jessie Peñaflor, Assistant Vice President of Maintenance Operations for an airline, Ms. Maria Cristina Robosa, and Mr. Genuine Ian Cirilo Samper, both licensed aircraft mechanics and homegrown talents of OMNI.

Present at the occasion were Capt. Eleazar Cayago, OMNI's Vice President; Ms. Lilibeth Ramos-Mangulabnan, Business Development Group Head; Mr. Juan Paulo Gomez, Sales Manager; Mr. Mikhail Josef Siy-hian, Senior Marketing Supervisor; and Mr. Earl Renzo Caday, OMNI's Officer-in-Charge in the Maintenance Training Center, who also delivered the opening remarks.

In her presentation, Ms. Robosa introduced the “Filthy Fifteen” and their significance in everyday maintenance operations. Mr. Samper provided a walkthrough of the license acquisition process. Mr. Peñaflor shared his journey toward his dream profession and a sneak peek into the aircraft maintenance operations at the airline. There was a question-and-answer session afterwards, where the participants had the opportunity to engage further with the speakers.

Capt. Cayago concluded the event with words of encouragement to the attendees to pursue their dreams.
