OMNI Aviation Hosts Successful Symposium for Aspiring Cabin Crew

OMNI Aviation hosted its second symposium, “A Career Guide for Aspiring Cabin Crew,” during OMNI IATA Group’s Open House on July 5, 2024, at the OMNI Aviation audio-visual room. Esteemed guest speakers graced the event, including Ms. Angelica Elias, Lead Cabin Crew International at Cebu Pacific; Ms. Maricris Suarez Aboy, Former Flight Attendant at Saudia Airlines; and Mr. Joselito Las, Cabin Crew Excellence Manager.

Present at the occasion were Capt. Eleazar Cayago, OMNI's Vice President; Ms. Lilibeth Ramos-Mangulabnan, Business Development Group Head; Ms. Jinky Dimacali, OMNI IATA Group’s Head; Mr. Juan Paulo Gomez, Sales Manager; and Mr. Mikhail Josef Siy-hian, Senior Marketing Supervisor.

Two sessions were conducted to accommodate nearly 400 aspiring flight attendants. Ms. Jinky Dimacali welcomed the participants during the morning session, while Ms. Lilibeth Ramos-Mangulabnan opened the afternoon session.

Ms. Angelica Elias shared her inspiring journey from training at OMNI to achieving success as a flight attendant. She discussed both the perks and challenges of the role, including the sacrifices, such as missing holidays.

Ms. Maricris Suarez Aboy talked about her path to realizing her dream career, emphasizing how her training at OMNI Aviation prepared her for the airline industry.

Mr. Joselito Las captivated the audience with his amusing recount of the time he applied to be a flight attendant, sharing anecdotes from his interview experience. Despite his initial fear, he pursued his goal and encouraged participants to “take action despite overwhelming fear.”
