Students from Philippine Women's University (PWU) Laguna, First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) Colleges, President Ramon Magsaysay State University (PRMSU) and Mabalacat City College (MCC) joined together in training under OMNI Aviation Corporation's Alternative Internship Program On-Site Training from 17 May to 19 May 2022.
These Tourism students from the aforementioned institutions held and completed their 3-day training consisting of (1) Grooming Activity and Inflight Training; (2) Ditching Training, and; (3) Emergency Procedures onboard the aircraft, Jump and Slides, and fire fighting training, respectively.
As one of the highlights of their training, a Tiktok video of one of the students garnered social media attention with a high amount of good laughs and likes. It featured the students displaying what they have learned from their instructors, specifically operating the cabin door: one of the students closed the cabin door while her fellow trainees coached her on the process. The reason for its trending appeal is how the trainee ended up hitting her head, but still managed to do it with poise as she captioned it “Me as a Flight Attendant with Awra.”
These trainees definitely have gone a long way from their initial sessions to their final group activity as they applied reflex responses in emergency situations. Amidst coming from different universities and colleges, they have exhibited their professionalism and unity in showing off what OMNI trained them for and are altogether #ReadyToFly!
