A Mother’s Love
Imagine you are at the airport, waving good-bye to your loved ones. You’re about to fly that plane. You see your mother waving her hand. You may be at least 10 feet apart.
You see her smile.
You head on to the plane. You’re ready to fly a hundred passengers to their destination.
Your mother, who carried you for nine months in her womb, slowly walks toward her car. She clasps her hands together praying to God that you have a safe flight.
Her forehead creases as she worries. But she prays with all her might for your protection. Tears run down her cheeks as walks towards the exit.
Loving Selflessly – Always
Mothers embody selflessness. Since you were conceived, your mother gave everything to you. Her body for your home and her heart so you can have all the love in the world.
Just imagine how every day since you were a kid, you had your breakfast ready. All you had to do was eat. That’s your mother.
Remember when you thought you won’t be able to submit a project due the next day? Your mom stayed with you the whole night just to help you finish the task.
When you thought you won’t make it through college? Your mother kept on pushing you to your limits not just because she wanted to but because she needed to.
You are your mother’s world.
Defining Unconditional Love
We often forget that our mothers paid the ultimate sacrifice for us. There’s nothing else that matters in this world for a mother but to see her son or daughter happy, healthy, and fulfilled.
Motherhood doesn’t end after graduation. Motherhood doesn’t end at all.
She will do everything – anything – just to make sure that her child grows up to be what he or she dreams to be. She will never stop pushing you – sometimes, a bit too hard – until you reach what you want in life.
A mother never gets tired of doing anything for her offspring. That’s what we call unconditional love.
A Mother Deserves It All – And More
The next time you’re on that flight, kiss your mother like there’s no tomorrow. She deserves every act of love in the world, as you are her world.
Embrace her with assurance that you will be safe. She needs that – to know that her child will return home safe.
Smile at her with warmth, expressing that she means so much to you. She should always feel that every day is Mother’s Day.
A Letter to Mothers
Mom, Mommy, Nang, ‘Nay, Mama…
From the bottom of our hearts, we give you all our love. It’s now time to repay you for everything that you have done for all of us.
Let us take it from here. You wanted to give us the best life. Thank you.
Now, it’s our turn to give you the best life that you can have.
Happy Mother’s Day!
