A Look Back on Love Month at OMNI
Although February is the shortest month of the year, a lot has certainly happened for OMNI trainees,
employees and partners alike. Here’s a quick recap on all things love from the OMNI HQ:
OMNI TRAINEE’S #KILIGMOMENTS ON-AIR
During a guesting for the established noon-time show Eat Bulaga, Jeremy Go, a PPL trainee
of OMNI matched with Steffi Buenafe, a fellow pilot trainee from PAL Aviation in the segment Bawal
Judgmental. Their chemistry did not go unnoticed as the audience and the hosts were obviously
feeling the kilig-worthy rapport between the two. Shortly after the guesting, netizens took to social
media to stay updated and share their excitement over the pairing.
In their subsequent interview featured in 24 Oras, Jeremy and Steffi said they are currently
in touch as friends but are both open to the possibility of romance blossoming down the road.
For the two, the saying “love is in the air” definitely rings true.
VALENTINE’S DAY THE OMNI WAY
While audience members in the Eat Bulaga studio were swooning over the latest aviation
love team, OMNI employees also had matches to cheer for. As part of the company Valentine’s Day
program, a playful matchmaking game coined “Heart to Get: Search for Mr. and Ms. Right” was
enjoyed by employees.
Love was also shared in the form of blind Valentine cards sent by Secret Cupids. Even more
pleasantly, special treats were given to the company’s “Sweetest Employee” awardees and for all
those who joined in the celebration by painting OMNI red with their outfits.
RED AND BLUE UNION
The partnership between AirAsia and OMNI Aviation for the Allstars Cadet Pilot Program
continues to push full-steam ahead, gathering thousands of applications since its launch in January
20, 2020. Eligible candidates have been redirected to the next step in the process and are expected
to begin their initial assessments in the coming weeks.
